Three-dimensional display panel

Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a lenticular lens sheet excellent in flatness and to obtain a stereoscopic image of high image quality on a large-sized screen by constituting a panel of a three-layer structure; the lenticular lens sheet, a transparent layer and a diffusion layer, and making the focus plane of the lenticular lens sheet align with the diffusion layer. CONSTITUTION: A panel is constituted of the three-layer structure; the lenticular lens sheet 11, the transparent layer 14 and the diffusion layer 13, and the focus plane of the lenticular lens sheet is made to align with the diffusion layer. A projected video is reflected on the diffusion layer 13 after transmitting through the lenticular lens sheet 11 and the transparent layer 14, and then, it is transmitted through the transparent layer 14 again, then, a reproduced image is formed on the lenticular lens sheet 11 whose position keeps the same distances as a projection point so as to give a stereoscopic image to an observer 200. Thus, the stereoscopic image can be observed all over the display plane, and also the stereoscopic image of high quality can be obtained since a joint which is formed by sticking the lenticular lens sheets 11 together is not visible in the three-dimentional display on the large-sized screen.
