PURPOSE: To produce a frozen milk piece convenient for use and useful for newborn baby, etc., by preparing milk to prescribed nutrient content and concentration and freezing the prepared milk in solid form at a prescribed temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The objective frozen milk piece can be produced by preparing a milk to contain sufficient nutrients such as proteins, fats, minerals and vitamins at necessary concentrations and freezing the milk at a prescribed temperature (e.g. -15°C) in the form of cubic or ball-shaped solid form having slits for division. A prescribed number of the milk pieces are thrown into a cup or a nursing bottle and dissolved by pouring a small amount of hot water into the cup, etc., to get a milk having a temperature adequate for drinking (e.g. 40°C). The load and labor of mother are lessened to enable safe and smooth feeding.
