Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a small powder beam machining device capable of injecting a solid/gas two-phase fluid of powder and gas to a work for high-speed machining. CONSTITUTION: A powder beam machining device is constituted of a ultrasonic motor 3, a hollow pipe section 41 is provided at the shaft center of the rotary shaft 4 of the ultrasonic motor 3, and a spiral stream generated by the rotation of a parallel circular pipe section 41a due to the rotation of the rotary shaft 4 is added to a parallel stream by the high-pressure gas of a solid/gas two-phase fluid 1 applied from the upstream side of the parallel circular pipe section 41a of the hollow pipe section 41 constituted of the parallel circular pipe section 41a, a taper circular pipe section 41b and a parallel circular pipe section 41c. The solid/gas two-phase fluid 1 is mixed and accelerated by the synthetic force of the parallel stream and spiral stream, the solid/gas two-phase fluid 1 is squeezed by the taper circular pipe section 41b and further accelerated, the spiral stream component of the solid/gas two-phase fluid 1 is decreased by the reduction of the diameter of the nozzle parallel circular pipe section 41c with the diameter smaller than that of the parallel circular pipe section 41a, only the nearly parallel stream component is attained, and the powder distribution of the solid/gas two-phase fluid 1 is unified.
